The Miva Keyword Generator Tool Generates a good long list of related keywords with recent search numbers. The AddMe Keyword Suggestion Tool Powered by Keyword Discovery. Always worth a look. Trellian's Keyword Discovery Tool No sooner had Overture's keyword tool bitten the dust than Trellian came out with this free offering. Very good it is too. And indeed, finally, no sooner had Overture etc. etc. than Wordtracker themselves came out with this scaled-down free version of its main Keyword tool. For many, this will be the tool they need, I suspect that outside of determined niche-hunters few people will now need to make use of Wordtracker's paid service. The best alternative to Wordtracker is now, er, Wordtracker! Watch that niche! Very useful, on my list of regulars. It's back! No, wait... it isn't... :-( No good for multiples but maybe the best for a one-shot. Google's own related terms keyword tool. Google's own trend-spotting keyword tool. Google's own insightful keyword tool. Google Search-Based Keyword Tool Google's own search-based keyword tool. Folds out and does (nearly) everything. A new but popular arrival on the free keyword research tools scene. How long is a piece of string? How high is the sky? I don't know either but with this tool I can find out how many times people are asking for those and any other phrases that might be related to the keywords/phrases my site could be built around. Get that long-tail traffic sewn up! Commercial Keyword ToolsGood like the others, say Wordze or Keyword Discovery, are good but, like the others, you'll really have to go through the (multiple) features and check it out for yourself. I will say in its favour, though, something that does distinguish it from the others is that founder Jim Morris does do a rattling good newsletter. I subscribe to it myself and the very fact that you're here, I believe, establishes my SEO credentials. I read this guy's stuff every month. Nichebot. And hey, get this; a training video! I've not had time to take this in myself at time of writing but I'm hearing it's very good; Nichebot's Webinar Keyword Elite 2 - the new one!! Brad Callen's very latest offering. Brad has a very sound marketing background that he leverages fully in the design and execution of his softwares. I find all that marketing off-putting myself but I have to say once you can get past it to the product, well... I got SEO Elite and I use it all the time now. I've no doubt that for many Keyword Elite 2 will be a worthwhile investment. The idea behind this is there are two kinds of searchers, one who looks for information and the second who have made up their mind and are looking to buy something specific. These people will use a different more focussed set of keywords and phrases. The guys over at Buyer Keywords Generator reckon they've got a handle on those phrases. I haven't used this myself (not enough hours in the day to do everything) but I do hear good reports of it. There are videos available (free ones) that I hear are really good. You may well learn a lot just from watching them. Buyer Keywords Generator. Check it out now. Rather more than just the Adsense Keyword Research Engine, these days, they say, there's PPC Keyword Research and the SEO Keyword Research Tool as well! You should spend time with Keyword Country to get the flavour of the various offerings, in my view. Wordz up! I gave it a go and I like it! I suppose it could be because it's a change from the others. It does its job well and it seems as accurate as any of the others. Worth the subs, I'd say. Usefully, they do a Competitor Analysis video, a keyword research video, either or both of which might convince you to subscribe
Again, I've never tried this one. Their free trial is down, I'll come back to it. This is from Trellian, very heavy duty. I don't get on with this but a lot of people do. What do I know, eh? Another newbie I didn't get the time to try out yet. I haven't tried this yet, but I have to say there's something of a buzz going around about it. Some of it is from quite serious people. I may give it a go and come back to you all about it.
