"We identified a vulnerability in our business due to our reliance on internet search engines without really
understanding their requirements for achieving good page rankings. We spent about a week researching businesses who could
potentially help. A common theme amongst the companies we looked at was their requirement for us to commit to long
term, expensive optimisation/maintenance contracts without any quantified return committment to improving our current
performance. We found Kruse Internet Services and on reading the site content it was clear that
here was a different approach. It was
explained that in order to assess what changes may be required on a site it was necessary to carry out test
procedures and to interpret the results, both of which took time and resources. Rather than do this as the first stage of
an optimisation contract Kruse Internet Services will
prepare a report for a modest fee, without any committment beyond this. We
liked this approach and commissioned a report which we have now received (several days early). The content was detailed,
identifying a number of areas which could be improved. We have chosen Kruse Internet Services to carry out the remedial work, their
preferred way of working seems to be to phase this over a period of months and we have agreed to engage them on this
basis paying as we go but retaining the ability to terminate at any time.
